Gene was my realtor for both the purchase and sale of my homes. I was looking to downsize to a home that would accommodate aging in place. My search took awhile. When I finally found THE one, Gene helped me craft a readily accepted offer. He was there for the home inspection and advised on needed repairs. I moved into my new home in October. We listed my old house in November. Gene priced it higher than I expected, but he was right on target. He warned me that the holidays were a slow time for home sales and to be patient. He used all the traditional methods and online tools to advertise and show the house, including holding a regular open houses. As he predicted, we received an offer in late January right after Super Bowl weekend. Gene guided me through the offer/counter offer negotiations. A deal was struck… and then almost fell through. In his usual attention to detail, Gene contacted the buyer's mortgage company to check the loan status and discovered it had not moved beyond pre-approval. Gene alerted the buyer's realtor and the buyer was able to arrange alternate financing in time for closing. Gene works hard to make both buying and selling a home as stress-free as possible.
